Wow its blowing 25-30mph and I have been sitting on the sofa watching a palm tree blow for the last 48hrs. I guess its the first cold front so its officially winter in the keys, which means the Spannish Mackeral should start biting! The macks are one of my favorite fish to catch and once they are in the chum slick they are alot of fun weather your a kid on your first trip or a seasoned fly fisherman looking to have some fin with a popper. Its mid November and the fishing has been great in the backcountry, we have been fishing for Snook and Redfish along the shorelines of the Keys & Everglades.
