Its mid November and the fishing has been great in the backcountry, we have been fishing for Snook and Redfish along the shorelines of the Keys & Everglades. If you are looking for a get away contact me and we can set something up. The redfishing has been great in the last few weeks.

Its Summertime in the Florida Keys and its HOT! As you know if you fish with me I HATE T Tops, and if you have ever fished around a bridge you are always scared you are going to rip your top off if your fish runs under the bridge and that's why I don't have one! I have a umbrella which is great, but it will not allow me to run over 15mph so while at the boat show i had a long conversation with the guys at LaPorte and they built me a custom removable top that will fit in a bag and can be installed in about 5min. Below are some photos and I have been testing it for the last week. I ran the boat over an hour with speeds up to 45mpn and was cursing back from the everglades at 40mph for about 45min. The Family Fishing has been awesome lately, check out my Instagram gregpoland for a bunch of photos but we have been catching Huge Mangrove Snappers I mean HUGE they are double the legal limit, & the sea trout are all too big to bring home, but we are bending the rods and having fun!
