I took my girlfriend out fishing a few days ago for the afternoon tide, it was her birthday and i wanted to catch her a tarpon. As we were pulling up to our spot we saw a friend fighting a fish so i knew the bite was on. We put our baits out and started our drift, they were rolling all over the place & it was slick calm conditions. About 30 min into the fight my buddy called and said the fish they were fighting was really big & asked if i had my camera. We were at the end of the drift so ran over & watched him release this sea monster... Lisa jumped a nice tarpon of about 75-80lbs but it looked like a minnow compared to our friends whopper. Congrat's to Capt. Ben Ekbloom & his angler on this big tarpon.
